It is sixty years in the future. Humanity has survived the ravaging effects of a climate change and is making its first tentative steps out into near space through the combined efforts of the International Space Consortium. Callum Moore has come from a troubled past to graduate top of his class at the ISC flight academy and has been selected to pilot the Icarus in mankind’s first attempt at faster than light travel.
It begins with the dreams. Strange glimpses of other worlds beyond all reckoning; of a proud and technologically advanced race that has spread out to the furthest edge of the solar system and one who has been selected to save the future of his entire species. It begins with a terrible act of corporate sabotage, the effects of which ripple across known space to ultimately join two races as friend or foe.
